That’s Me Finished

  1. Just put my driving licence in the post to surrender it, my epilepsy is back. Have been back on the road since October 2017 and to be honest the enjoyment has not been the same since pre epilepsy medication.
The medication dulls you down and makes you feel flat. I will have to wait and see what the extra medication does but my confidence has been low for some time now.
The Dessert Sled can stay in the garage until I can make a non emotional decision.
    Bugger bugger bugger.

  2. That is sad to read, hopefully the right meds will help your confidence and symptoms.
    Good luck Richard.

  12. As @CAT3 says above, sad news indeed for the reasons of your decision but a brave one to take.
Great credit to you, let's hope I could make that decision should the need arise.

  14. Oh bless you but I admire that you have surrendered your licence as many wouldn’t
I’m hoping for you that there are meds that will lead to you eventually riding again :)

  15. Did it for my safety and my wife’s safety. Also easier to get it back if you do it voluntarily before the consultant tells the DVLA.
