I'd a muckaway lorry this morning very early removing the spoils from a new driveway area and decided to close the road down for fifteen odd minutes,so that his exit point was clear of traffic muppets.
In the garage first thing, Diavel front brake calipers removed, front wheel out, front discs cleaned and bobbins checked, wheels in the back of the car and ........ it’s only 8:30. Arrive at Micheldever Tyres for 10 and by 10:35 I’m on my way with nice set of new Rosso IIIs fitted. Collected a few bits from MR and whilst there, booked the Diavel in for an oil and filter change and general inspection in preparation for Vercour in September. Thought to check when a new chain was last fitted and as it’s been 4 years, ordered a new chain and sprocket kit, just in case. Back home and into the garage. Front brake calipers stripped and cleaned, front wheel fitted, chain cleaned thoroughly and lubricated, rear brake adjusted just a tad for less pedal movement and rear wheel fitted. Think I’m done for today and just might pop down the pub later after Carole finishes work. Andy
