Hi all, Just fitted an Oberon Slave cylinder to my 848 and I have to say it pretty much made c*ck all difference to the effort needed to pull the lever. It's not that I'm weak (honest...) but was kind of hoping that it would make it similar to that of my R6. So if anyone was thinking of buying one for their Duke I don't think its worth the £92 or the effort really, just my opinion.
They do make a difference, maybe more on older bikes (like my 748). You could take off two of the clutch springs too, that would lighten it up. I run oberon and 4 springs, light as a cable, no drag and the plates are fine (5k+)
Cheers for info - presume taking two off made 33ish % lighter again over and above the help given by the Oberon? Will look into this. Thanks
i had one fitted to my 916 this march, and i instantly felt a vast improvement..its easy to pull the clutch with two fingers..im running a full compliment of springs too..its one of the better mods for a Ducati imho, but i dont how effective they are on the newer machines.
