  1. Have to agree Phil its always the usual suspects and late last night the same idiots wandering of into trump rants looking for someone to bite on a row, me I just block them they are not worth even communicating with not alone fighting with the twats online ! As a whole I like this fourm and think the mods\admin do a good job and if I'm truthful I,d shut cunts down sooner ! Enjoy the weekend lads and ladies !!

  2. yeah, quite a few things, I can’t even look at the speakers corner stuff on here, because it’s the same thing every time, also I don’t know the members names but there are 3-4 that all seem to comment on threads with ‘inside banter’ and sometimes this takes them off thread, must be annoying for some. Also I don’t like the ridiculous comments like in the MotoGP thread about how people would be ‘balls deep in his bird’ which was okay the first time but there is about 4-5 posts about it when the thread isn’t even about it. I don’t comment because why take the thread further off topic. There’s also one of the more prolific posters who bought another brand of bike (one I have loads of experience with) and bought a f*cked ex race bike which promptly blew up then every single time that manufacturer gets mentioned he erupts into a rant about how awful they are, no balance and not willing to listen to any other view, so ignore the content from that individual.

I have however had some really great moments, I’ve had a couple of people reach out to me and say ‘well said’ following the last time I did get involved In defending a view, and I’ve had some good private conversations with people on here who offered me help with a wiring issue I had. The threads tend to go off track if the ‘banter’ mafia get involved, so the most useful stuff was done in PM and email. Not a good thing for the forum really it people are doing things via DM to help other members in a more useful way.

  3. A man after my own heart I agree with everything you say.
On the technical thread side of things that is what makes the forum a window to the world
If I have a problem I use Google first it generally provides an answer. Threads from here often appear in the search and some i have seen are as you describe full of drivel from idiots
Its a shame you have resorted to PM as it takes that nugget of info away from those who need it. Having said that I have resorted to PM to make sure the person got the info and it wasn't lost in a cloud of crap

  4. Thanks Phil for your upfront points of view, big up. So i apologise to you and others if my madcap banter sometimes steers you away from the forum itself.

  5. I’m guessing you mean me phil re the race bike. Not sure I go into a rant. Someone may tag me for a laugh, or someone is asking about reliability or something. But I do have a fixed opinion of 675 as I have seen lots and lots expire at tracks. That’s not being blinkered: that’s reality of seeing lots broken :) On the road, they are great. And I’d love one: probably one of the best balanced bikes there are around. And I have no idea how reliable they are on the road but I’d expect no more of less thank most bikes.

I’m with you on most of the rest :upyeah:

  6. I think this thread is in danger of going off topic now, although the points raised above are all accurate and thought provoking.

In an attempt to bring it back on topic, @RexDangerVest the red points you’ve collected are because someone has given a post of yours a negative rating ie a dislike, a disagree, a lock thread or, heaven forbid, a nuke.

  8. Wow, so if you dislike someone’s comment they get a point against them? Surely that’s not the case????

  9. Not a point regarding getting banned, just a negative rating, Phil you are on -8 I am on -16 for some unknown reason.;)

  10. They aren't banning points though they're just ratings point like ratings received, neutral ratings and dislikes.

The points for a ban are known only to the admins.

Which is what the thread started out as a question about.

  11. How does this bollox work? I’ve just checked my avatar thing and there’s a -28 there. Is that good?

  12. -8 in 4400 posts, I’ll take that haha. Although I don’t even bother disliking the negative stuff these days, because it’s provocative in many cases and just not worth it

  13. As far as I am aware only Nukes give negative ratings (even if they are love Nukes from Chiz) but giving someone a Nuke has seemingly been the cause of a months ban which is why the rules appear to be unclear. The points system doesn't seem to be used, or is very secretive and not communicated, hence the original question I think

  14. Mine shows -1021 so your score is crap. Most of mine are Chizzer love Nukes (and the odd love Nukes from Chris), although at one point I was up to -1250 ish so it is strange :bucktooth:

  17. It is for you,:upyeah:I think you're getting off lightly.;)

  18. Some have clearly decided to un-nuke, although some may not be aware that on an iPad you can give a Nuke from simply having fat thumb as I scroll up I sometimes mistakingly hit the Nuke button.

I just assume the nuke has fat digits and it an error on their part, if you do browse on an iPad you can in the same way mis press emoji's on the ratings.

  20. Maybe when someone leaves the forum and cancels their account altogether the Nukes disappear too
