From the info I read it’s the throttle bodies mainly that are different, but I’ve never owned one so all new to me.
Well, it shops be able to wheels for fun and maybe even start dragging bits when messing about....that’s fun

Nice one. I've got an S4R and I think it is probably the most all round enjoyable bike I've ever owned. How much, if you don't mind me asking?
S4RS is the pinnacle of the Monster range, a real blast to take out on a sunny day. Only thing to remember when really enjoying it to it's max is that iles per tank can easily dip down into the sixties but a small price to pay for the amount of laughs to be had. Sounds great with a replacement exhaust system as well.
It's not just the S that has the problem as my S4R is fairly new to me and tbh I thought the fuel gauge was faulty for this very reason.
Paid £6500. Which I think is a ‘bargain’ Only 18k miles, service books stamped up, recent radiator, starter motor, sprag, plugs. Picked up yesterday, massive thanks to @cookster for the van and pick up. Bit scruffier than I’d hoped, and looks like it’s not been cleaned in a while...engine needs a full re-paint really...but everything as it should be, engine sounded fine, nothing looks to be leaking and no signs of crash damage. Bodywork and frame nice and clean, its underneath....possible rear shock is leaking a little but could be just grime! Chain seen better days, so will need C&S pretty soon. At 5 paces looks great! Forgot how loud the clutch is and how low and slow these things tickover! Insured, £89!!!! Now just to tax and take for a run.
