So what have you done today..?

  1. Escaped today for a ride out, headed to Harrogate then Skipton to miss the rain. Followed the rain up to Hawes and on to Tan Hill Inn and on upto the A66, ending up with the sun shining in Thirsk, now back in York after a 200 mile round trip.
They have some serious winter vehicles at the pub :eyes:

  3. Got these on eBay! My bike is a 2002 though.........(might stop me asking so many daft questions!)
The sprocket cover weighs 27 grams less than the standard one so how much faster will it go now?

  4. https://www.indianmotorcycle.co.uk/ftr-1200-family/ftr-1200-s/

I test rode one of these today at Krazy Horse in Bury St Edmonds, and a jolly decent chap John is too, who organised the test rides for us.

I went in with no expectations or pre judgement so I was nicely surprised at the quality of everything Indian. I am not necessarily looking to replace my 39000 mile 2013 MTS just yet, but nothing else I have test ridden has tickled my fancy. But this did bring a big smile to my face, so something happened to me !! Although engine is quoted at only 120bhp let me tell you it’s all very usable and feels sufficient. Brakes excellent, suspenders excellent, steering and front end excellent.

  10. reminded me of a publican called Pat, wish I knew where he was now. First time I met him he'd just taken over the pub, I told him we met there on the third Thursday of every month and had to keep a straight face as he repeated it back to me. Lovely genuine bloke, better company than the majority of people at the meet that I ran, got to know him well.

  17. You could always get some leather offcuts and have a go yourself?

Jumble sales are also a good source of old leather, such as old school satchels.
