Hi, it would be nice to give it a go but when I see nice work from people that know what they are doing, I just wouldn't be happy. A nice one will last a lifetime, my effort would probably last a day. Love the idea of recycling old leather, one of those materials that looks better with age.
Joined Trucknetuk forum today, spent all morning remenicing about my time lorry driving to and from the Middle East, shame so many of my old photos have faded. Steve
10 minutes earlier, you were pushing over statues in Bristol harbour and now you’re smoking a joint in a field, listening to Bob Marley....
Gave my V4 the once over for Donington next Tuesday. Decided to lower the foot pegs on my Spider rearsets 1 hole, it isn’t much but every little helps when it comes to knee bend at my age. Just my kit left to sort out and fingers crossed, my two piece still fits well enough to at least let me breath Andy
Ride out on the 996 before Donington on Tuesday. Check all bolts torqued, chain, oil. Fit solid clutch cover. Indicators, mirrors and plate off. Secure rear light (gaffa tape) as it worked free from carbon single seat unit which flexes around the rubber mount. Check tyres and pressures. Tank nearly empty. Ready to go.
Day 5 of the road trip going down from Inverness to Edinburgh the long way around , taking in the views from the A 939, what a fantastic panoramic views!
