He wanted 13k but he said open to offers, i made him an offer and the man from delmonte he said no!!, so i left it! Yes they don't seem to be shifting.
Call our "showroom" on my mobile, You may find me in my bedroom with Mummy cooking tea downstairs but I am a reputable dealer -honest!
Or a car & bike dealership that uses mobiles as we're far more responsive than having a landline we can only answer when in the showroom. Seems we're damned if we do and damned if we don't...
I've space in my garage for all them bikes when the 911 needs moving I'm nice like that !! Stock looks very nice
Come along Perry, take off your cardigan & slippers and move with the times. Why some of these places even have inside outhouses you know.
You'd buy from a "business" that doesn't have a landline? I suppose that if things got too hot, you can always chuck the PAYG sim in the river and start again with a different eBay id and new SIM. Yes, I'll stay a fussy old fart. When I buy my a new Guzzi, I won't shun either Fowlers or Moto Corsa, to tour lock-ups advertised on eBay. I'll go somewhere where they have proper workshops with factory tools in their workshop and shun the opportunity to get the bike ready on the kerb with a non-factory trained mechanic wielding his adjustable spanner and a big mallet. I think I'll cope but it won't be easy...
Never heard of call forwarding or ansafone? You probably do have a landline id you take card payments or want to have the ability to do emails and browse the web. Shhhhh - don't tell anyone.....
Because WhatsApp works perfectly with that doesn’t it... Perhaps if you have an opinion on a business and the way they conduct themselves you should just get a few facts right first and not jump to massive and wrong conclusions. Must be difficult to maintain complete ignorance all the time. Enjoy your Moto Guzzi (if) and when you buy one, we will continue to work with the great clients we have from our lock-up...
I use WhatsApp on my landline where it works perfectly. But I,as a private subscriber, have a landline that my mobile uses as well. People can call my hone phone and leave a message OR if I am expecting n important call and going out, I can forward calls to my mobile. If I don't want to be contacted or don't wanna contact anyone else, I'll junk the landline and just rely on my mobile. That will work...NOT!
If that is your preference that is fine of course but more and more homes and busineses are shunning land lines. It doesn't make them any more or less good, bad or indifferent than before. It just means they prefer mobiles.
2WHAT Not here. If you want reliable communications then you use a landline, to which you can connect all of your devices to. I don't understand why any business would not have a landline. A quick scan of all the business in Bristol and Gloucester reveals they all have landlines. In the minority, I know. You get so used to those conversations, "Have you got a 210V17 tyre in stock?" "WHAT?" HAVE YOU GOT A 210V17 TYRE IN STOCK?" "WHAT? I CAN'T HEAR YOU!" "WHAT?" "WHAT?" "I'LL CALL YOU ON THE L A N D L I N E!" "WHAT?" "I SAID... OH FORGET IT!" "CALL ME ON THE LANDLINE! OH F*** IT! I HAVEN'T GOT A LANDLINE!" Brrrrrrrrrrr.........
25 years in the same premises same company name never had a landline but for the ye old fax machine ! The poor girl is still plugged in but I'd say hasn't printed a thing in 15 years I must get a landline that seems to guarantee my legitimacy , not my certification or tax clearance cert
I stand(well sit, actually) corrected: This is where Frasers are in Gloucester - my nearest big dealer. Gloucester Car Boot & Flea Market (open 2 days per week) only have a mobile number. All of the other fly-by-nights, like Frasers, Enterprise, EMR, Ultimate, etc fob me off with an o345 or a 01452 number. And they've got the canal next door to chuck in their SIMs when they no longer want them!
