I was born in Waddesdon - know it like the back of my hand - used to poach the estate land when I was much younger and ran my own motorcycle club at the White Lion for a while.
I know Quainton well, used to be known as the wife swapping centre of Bucks!! Long time ago now though - also used to know the 2 Scottish owners of Fleet Marston farm but their name escapes me now, once upon a long time ago I shot over Lower FM Farm. We used to drink in Quainton at the George and Dragon and a tiny little pub near the T junction - the Sportsman??

That's the chap - had a brother called Alec - pub landlords well forgotten, it was over 30 years ago although I do seem to recall a lady owning the G&D
G&D from 14 years old lol played pool and darts for the pub ( was only allowed 1 pint till I was 18 ) started drinking in the white hart from about 20 was my 2nd home
