I saw a group there with a shower attached to their van, dead jealous of that in the heat. Anyone know the chap on the twin shocker in the inters? That must have taken nerves of steel at some points.
Just got back having decided to stay last night in anticipation of being knackered. Great to see some old friends and meet some new. I don’t know about you lot but I found the day quite frantic and didn’t seem to have enough time to find people for a chat. I won’t be at Silverstone as it’s too close to a bike touring holiday that I’m really looking forward to. Until the next time, enjoy and be safe. Andy
Convo went like....’you see sir, you need a new wiring loom, plus bumper will need to be changed probably and the underside needs a new bar fitment...’ before fitting he got to 3 and half grand and I said ‘don’t worry mate, I’ll rent a van’
Get that S4RS of yours up and running, it will be an awesome track bike. Although don’t do what Curtis did. Andy
Not the best shots...spot the long-lap desmo that comes into view lol the old fella has had from new and must have been in his 70’s
@bradders Missed your vocation mate, brilliant! The first shot with clear visor shows the difference in conditions on the day. A jet came in to land right before the off and the cloud was so low you could hardly see it. Second session clear visor. All subsequent dark. Thanks once again for your help and support. It made the day even more enjoyable. Looking forward to seeing the monster soon and bring the BMW T-shirt. We can ceremoniously burn it.
Was Curtis the guy who had the off on the Monster? Is he a forum member (kinda hope not, but, I heard he was not hurt which in the end is the important bit).
