  1. Hello forum,

I am a life long 2 stroke rider and never owned a 4 stroke, let alone a Ducati.

I have lusted after an SS since the 90's and have found a beautiful 2000 750 SS.

A few questions - it is £3250 with 13k on the clock, looks immaculate, has a full recent service and new belts.

Please advise any pitfalls - should i see it from cold and what should i look or listen for - any unexpected costs i may not know about etc.

    Any advice appreciated.

    Dean.

  6. i guess the 750 SS I am buying won't keep up with this 34 y/o girl...

  7. Greetings!

Probably not, especially if you ride the blue stroke like you stole it -I know you do!

  10. Thanks to all of you for your welcome messages. I will post some pics of the SS when she arrives. Will be looking for some advice to make her noisier as currently bog standard and just that v-twin crackle i hear when out on the road from some nice cans....

  14. Welcome, in answer to your questions, if it looks great with a full service history & new belts, I’d say you’re on a good bet as a rule. I had a 98 900SS as my first Ducati & wish I’d kept it but kids got in the way for a while. Enjoy & let’s be having pics up when it arrives
