Picked up fork stanchions for the TZ after re-chroming and grinding. Got to re build them over the weekend, only problem is I took them apart about 16 years ago and not too sure what order the damper components go in. Still it'll exercise the grey matter.
The classic lies... "Trust me, I'm from the government, I'm here to help you!" Yeah, right. Good luck to all with what sounds like a real mess.
Roofing, particularly hips and valleys are one of my favored jobs next to stairs. Steve PS There's around 30 ton of stone slate going on that roof.
Lay in bed listening to the monsoon and thinking about how I'm playing golf at 12, It's a team comp so can't really back out and let the other 3 people down.
My son played in captains day last Sunday , he shot 73 gross with a back nine of 34 and lost on a count back!!!!!! He plays off 6 at the moment.
Cruel game sometimes, this is captain day as well. Ought to go and support it as he's just had his captains weekend at Celtic Manor cancelled due to the ongoing. Shame, there were 70+ people going and it would have been good time with a chance to win some cash.
Thanks Richard, that's a great link! "Vicinity of Weybridge" is a lovely touch, hard to describe what that means to me.
I guess you'd have to live here, it's almost compulsory to detour to pass or even circle around Brooklands for sentimental or nostalgic reasons. I could write a small book. There was some nutter "within the past 10 years" (memory shot) who circled for over 10 minutes, I couldn't identify the plane but I think it was French.
I climbed to the top some years back, a recent eruption had drained the lake at the summit leaving one vast dust bowl. It was like being shot blasted when the wind whipped up. Got lost coming down and had to cross a pumice covered ice flow, top adventure!
