Woke up with a bit of a hangover and watching Motogp and for a change it's nice and cool and raining.
I woke up and recalled a dream that featured Stirling Moss. I ought to write some of it down as pretty freaky (as per all dreams).
i've just watched the rerun (last four frames) from yesterday's snooker match between Ronnie & Mark, normally i can't watch Selby play,as just way too slow round the table for me,as for ronnie just sublime shots.
Got a quote from BMW for a 10,000k service on my 320i £550 WTF, For an oil change and a few filters. Contacted a local BMW specialist, said with the mileage the air and pollen filters did not need doing, cost £207 for service and MOT. Robbing barstards at BMW have lost one more customer.
They lost me this year also. The rubber strip on the rear quarter lights (330 touring) seem to have shrunk! I suggested they replace them free of charge they had other ideas I now have my service carried out elsewhere.
Looks like they're refuelling at or nr Cardiff so you might get a double showing PB, when they depart our way around 5pm...
9am on-Zoom yoga class was a struggle this morning. Probably something to do with not being able to get to sleep last night. It's a 'strong', flowing class and it felt like I was using someone else's body - someone even older than me! Time to lose my lockdown belly
The amount of chances he gave Selby with erratic and somewhat loony shots getting out of snookers and just because one came out lucky Selby was gutted about the luck Ronnie had. Selby had more run of the balls all the way trough, what a silly twerp he is, and boring too
There's no doubt about it,Ronnie is a little wild at times with careless attitude on his safety postitioning shots and that lets his opponent in for the kill.As for the comment about unsportsmanlike afterwards in that interview,he should be fined for his time wasting psychology bullshit.A very exceptional player but if you win against R.O,please play at his pace or don't bother us.
With matchs being played with the best of 33 frames there's always going to be a level of skill / pressure at play but the eliminate of luck with the balls comes into the game as well.
It can be a place of extremes too, thats for sure... Anyhow when I was 14, me and another guy fell down an ice waterfall we were climbing on an outdoor pursuits thing on Mt Ruapehu. It was my fault too. Luckily we were ok and continued climbing to the top.
