4 dry days out of 4 last year in Spain for me . Rather better than the odds in the UK of 0.5 dry days in 3.0 last year . This year we had half a day's rain out of a two day trip. Which was a little unlucky but hopefully the others will be dry. Weather forecast for Tuesday isn't improving as I look at the met office forecast......
Still a wet trackday is better than any day at work, it's still a bike on a race track what's not to like ?
Don't see the sense in bumbling round a wet circuit on what is a notoriously slippery circuit when wet. Most of us don't have the luxury of full wets,so we would finish up going round at half the pace we'd like to and stand a fair chance of sliding off.if it was your only chance to ride the circuit I can see a reason but I personally have ridden it a few times in nice conditions, love the circuit and would rather wait and do that than slide off in the wet thinking what was the point of that,I wasn't even on the pace I want to be anyway.just my opinion.
That sound like a plan.gonna circulate around the garages and see who's there off the forum,I'll be the one looking slightly miffed that ducati day wasn't on Saturday or Sunday, and the wsb boys could have had the shit weather! They get enough track time!
What's the start and finish times? If I can make it down I will, but it depends on when our visitors leave in the morning.
Looking at the weather I might be buying some wets. Weather just gets shitter everytime I check on it!
I'll be riding back too Bradders.... .will see you in the Shell garage. I'll be the one tottering round on super corsas trying not to drop it! It looks like a few people are meeting up at the holiday Inn at 7 the evening before for a couple of beers. See you there..... Hoping for a weather based miracle!
