I'm getting emails for various bikes that I'm interested in, now. A very common phrase -especially with overpriced Ducatis - "is too many extras to list and thousands spent on them" , and so I'm not going to bother list them. The subtext being, "I am doing you a favour by offering to sell a future classic, so no questions and just pay up NOW!" Is the used Ducati/Guzii market really so buoyant that a seller holds all the cards and the buyer is Mr Sucker Loser? Must be me as I'm just put off.
No such thing. Ducati offered a 748 at the end of its production run in 2002 painted in grey but no mention of Senna in the bike’s description. Apart from something launched by Ducati Brazil 2 (ish) years ago, the only Sennas were the 3 tranches of the 916 from 1995, 1997 and 1998. Andy
You lot have got more patience than me! When I can be bothered, I gonna stop the emails as they just upset me!
Wait to to you get your insurance money and look for a bike. The 1299 will be a classic by then and a '94 916 will be £100,000
Maybe he’s being cute, he describes it as ‘rare Sena grey’. Is he saying the bike is a Senna or it’s colour is the same as. Maybe he genuinely doesn’t know.

Dreamer. Can’t get the cc right, calls it a 996 in the very first line of the listing and describes it as ‘spotless’, oh, apart from the scratch and oh, the speedo glass is cracked and oh, it’s got wheel tape Sorry, in a crappy mood and I’ve just emailed a trader to point out they have advertised a V4R as an 1103cc. Andy
thats quite tidy and he has the code card too did the S leave the factory with a termi end can or was it pre or post facelift dependent?

In 2018 / 19 there was about seven listed up for sale at around the £17/18 mark, question is are the prices coming down at the minute?..i still think this is a longterm bet. P.S i'm thinking of buying a second one.
A 1098R looks great, but just not sure on the prices at the minute. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/DUCATI-1...646084?hash=item4b7fcc5a44:g:v1IAAOSw6NNfPSUN
There does seem to be a lot of them kicking about so the thought would be they are coming down in price to just get rid, so it is another head scratcher as in long term.
