Cheers, she aint too bad for an old 'un. She has a chequered history, bought it unseen from a guy who took it as a debt payment. He rode it for 12 months and never even cleaned it. Once I got the crap off it was very tidy, someone had loved her. Oh, and she was a cat D at 6 months old. Repaired nose and on fairing side replaced.
Is there any other colour 748 pulled the loom apart last night and it looks like starter solenoid and fuel pump. Luckily just the wires snipped rather than stripped out the loom so should be pretty straight forward.... Famous last words
It's a kitchen bin so i don't think it counts without a bike next to it. I can do bits of bike with it
Thanks Richard, much appreciated but i think someone is buying one for my up and coming birthday this month, but if they don't i'll come back to you.
Welcome, I’m in a similar boat with an ‘02 748s just started unravelling the Datatool S4 for removal, I may be asking for advice if that’s okay.
Sure, no problem. The datatool simply breaks a circuit or two so it is a case of tracing the wires to see which circuit has been used. If you're lucky (I was!) both wires from the alarm for each circuit will join in the same place in the loom so it is a simple case of rejoining the original wires. Note that all the alarm wires will be black so it is a case of careful tracing.
