Found probably THE largest spider in our house ever . FYI, they’re males, they usually start to appear here around September, this one’s early, they’re on the hunt for a mate.
We had a huntsman in our house a few years ago, sitting on the back of the couch. I am not exagerrating when I say it's legspan was bigger than my hand! Although we all know they are not venomous, they are still pretty scary. I had never seen one before and my Jo was a bit nervous. Being a male, I found a newspaper or magazine and thought I would pick it up and move it outside. As soon as I got close it took off and they move at unbelievable speed! My wife screamed and I slowly chased it until it eventually hopped on my magazine and I flicked it outside.
