Sweated like a fat lass in a cake shop. Never complain when your office is over 25C, try working when its 52C...
I went out for 3 hours or so on the Scrambler. Had a coffee at Squires, where there was a few people out. Managed to just pull up the drive then the heavens opened.
Dragged my MV750 Evo 3 out of the garage to give it a deep clean. Might sell it in the spring to make some much needed room
I’m back in here eating as usual...the salt ship is parked out at sea whilst the salt it delivered is refined then sent back by conveyer to be reloaded and probably the salt ends up on your chips back home
First days paid work since lockdown, just in bloody time, need to replace bike tyres and car tyres need looking at too!!
The wife phoned me up when I was on the way home from work, she sounded right pi**ed off and informed me that someone had reversed into our car and dented the rear bumper with there tow bar and drove off, she informed me it was a silver Land Rover reg no AM05 D**, I told her to ring the police and report it, when i got near a town I drove round the streets for a while looking for said car, half hour later no luck as expected, took a short cut via Waitrose car par and I only spotted the bloody car, waited for owner to return and asked him nicely if he remembered hitting our car , sheepishly he fessed up and gave me his details, happy with the outcome but I bloody hate people who damage your things and just feck off, his excuse was I only tapped it and didn’t think it would do much damage.
Today I have come to terms with the fact that my race bike motor is totally destroyed! JD with a dash for me!
Very lucky, he wants to keep the insurance out of it and pay direct, quickly popped the car up to Mini to get a quote needs a lower rear bumper and repaint, its a pearl colour, i reckon when he see's the cost of what he called a nick we will be going through his insurance.
