It is a smashed in 8 year old Ducati with no history. According to the rules of eBay, the seller holds all of the cards and you, the buyer, hold none. Pay thousands for a smashed in bike that they don't want you to see. You can phone and leave a message, Ask them to call back and ask for My Mug. It is a Ducati and so if you get down on you hands and knees they might, MIGHT!, consider selling the wreck to you.
It's not eBay itself - I've used it and bought my ST2 on it. It's a combination of the people here having an unbeatable ability to point out the eBay wind-ups combined with what seems to be the trend pointed out here of using the word 'Ducati' to mean, "I am doing YOU a favour by offering this POS for sale"! It's me, though, as I was taking it too seriously and should just treat it as a laugh as I don't care. I only bought the ST2 by putting in a stupidly low bid that nobody else was crazy enough to offer more. So, I need to get with the spirit and stop worrying about it! I've got plenty to worry about anyway - like getting my driving licence back! And getting enough flexibility to get on a bike!!!!

Little story. Brother in law on building site last week, he's a bricky. Has horrendous knee problems. Scaffold is put up but its not in a way he can use it. So says to scaffy 'you'll need to move it mate. I can't work with it there, my knees are shot. Brickies lives matter too mate' 20 minutes later, foreman told him to pack up and leave site. Complaint was made as it was 'racism'. Later that eve, knock on door and plod stood there to question him about a racist/speech hate incident that had been reported. On this occasion, they said 'you're lucky, no further action'. Lucky??!! SIL was telling the family about it at the weekend. You can't make this shit up!
