My900ss

  1. hi I'm greg new to all this forum stuff hey ho.i have a 1996 900ss from new can't get brake light to go off. Can someone post pics of rear and front switches for brake light and were located thanks in advance

  9. I,m not sure where the switch is i have a 900ss ie and i think it is behind the master cylinder, i'm sure someone will let you know for sure where they both are. DSC_1512_LI.jpg

  10. Uneducated guess but I would say that the front switch is under the master cylinder should be visible from underneath the handlebar. Must be touching the brake lever at some point.

  17. If you are removing the microswitch from under the front brake lever for cleaning and checking, or replacement, make sure you don’t lose the small plastic spacer (#14 in the diagram above).
