Decided to forego the kebab tonight and had a Lamb Laziz and mushroom pilau instead, washed down with a few Peronis Andy
It was the looks, I have a thing for twin headlights, at the time my next door neighbour had a CB900 and was a complete nutter, so for me it was a heroes bike.
No, but strangely enough there were plenty wobbling around in groups I could well have done if I hadn’t taken a really wide berth around when passing. Lockdown has been good for bicycle manufacturers and retailers. Trouble is none of these people can ride a bike. This claim was confirmed by by pal from Kent who is a very keen mountain biker who’d been to a Bike Park in Gloucester this weekend and it was “littered” (his words) with idiots riding down the uplift tracks because they couldn’t ride the proper trails once they’d managed to get up there.
Just watched some idiot get rescued from his Aldi dingy by the coastguard helicopter. Hope they send him the bill !
Just received this rear section exhaust system for a small car that i bought of a customer a year odd ago and now needs a new M.O.T before i can sell it on,some dry weather before i install it would help matters.
You can never have too much lobster. Big Anniversary meal with 2 of the kids. One had sirloin. We pigged out on two tails each. Most definitely not a normal Tuesday.
Got to march in Cambridgeshire via Verwood, and Winchester ...got to say it’s one of the best hotel rooms you can imagine at the Wetherspoons believe it or not
Spent the day online shopping for sliders for my new bike. No it's not a Ducati...hoping that will be next year. Instead got a KTM RC390. My son and his girlfriend, KTM riders, are happy about the purchase and I have to say, it is a blast to ride. Preparing for an advanced riding school day this upcoming Sunday. Just replaced the battery in my Monster...twice(first replacement didn't hold a charge!?). My son and I are both signed up so we'll be bringing the Monster and KTM.
Woke up and to my surprise it isn't fucking raining and blowing a hooley, hopefully get out on the 996 later.
This reminds of when we all go out to a restaurant with a group of friends and everybody orders up something different, when it arrives on the table i wished i had order up what they're having instead of mine.
Went for a ride out to Salisbury today still a bit windy but dry, she looks good with the new carbon fibre oil cooler cover i got on ebay for 45 quid. Edit, Forgot to mention the bin @Ducbird.
Today me and SWMBO went to Pateley Bridge as she’d never been before. We had a nice lunch too. I discovered some new (to me) roads that I’ll definitely be visiting again this weekend on both bikes, as they were smooth surfaced, quiet and twisty too. And on the way home we decided to pay some friends in Yeadon a visit as we’d not seen them since before lockdown. That was nice too. It’s been a rather lovely day
