So what have you done today..?

  1. It's a nice road if you turn off at the garage. Brings you to Masham eventually.

  2. I put the Mrs in the car and went through ‘The Tunnel’ in our own metal bubble and drove over 750 miles.

    Weather is much better here.

Got done by a speed camera 10m beyond a 90km sign on an autoroute. It wasn’t what you’d call a safety camera, more of a mugging. 10m before I was below the speed limit. 10m after I was below the speed limit, at that point I was breaking. 10m in? Harsh I’d say.

‘Ah but Monsieur zat is ze law’!

It’s the kind of thing that that makes you think
f’em, I’ll catch the ferry to Spain in future and no French restauranteurs, hotels, fuel stations or shops will benefit from my custom. Typically the ordinary people suffer from the stupidity of the faceless bureautwats.

On the upside it’s no points on my license just a French tax.

Had to abort, I thought I would try another type out of interest but either it was faulty or out of date as wouldn’t propel like the first one and The affect was more like light snow! Had a few come after me because I couldn’t get close enough and would’ve taken far too long to coat anyway compared to the one on the left.

  19. I remember years ago i had a Hornet in the flat i was living in, it was on the floor so took it by surprise and sprayed the fuck out of it with wasp spray and the thing just stood there cleaning it off and flew out the window, it had zero effect on it, but it flew out the flat, i don't mind insects and the like but Hornets are fucking nasty bastards!!
