So what have you done today..?

  1. It is at this time of year. No choice. You have a garden, you have to do what it takes.

Mowed grass (ride on mower - I imagine I'm in the Monaco GP...)
Planted runners (nurtured in pots to make sure the bloody things come up).
Nice day, but back to cold and rain tomorrow apparently.

  2. Had just sat down after a quick 5 miles in the gym next door, the trainers came off after about 30 seconds.

Tropicana LOL, that does take me back to Somerset, a few thousand miles away from there, but the green hill on the golf course next door always reminds me of the Telly Tubbies!!

  3. Easy pleased the week before TT mate .be perfect for sooking the rabbits oot the hedges

  4. Just spent a lovely 3 days up in London, staying in a luxury penthouse on the river directly opposite Canary Wharf. Our trip was paid for by M in L as an anniversary gift to us.
One of the highlights was taking a ride on the Emirates cable car at North Greenwich-not a big deal for most people, but when your frightened of heights, like we are,it's a massive challenge. We nearly chickened out when we saw it for the first time but neither of us would give in,so on we went.It was fun!!!!!!
I was also lucky with my Fibromyalgia, apart from some fatigue when we got to London initially I was pretty good for the rest of the time, helped by Mrs Mervyn being the pack horse and carting our bits around.
The weather was great as well except for our journey up to London on Fri when it rained most of the day.And of course it's raining now.:upyeah:

  5. Pics of feet should be banned from this forum - there have been too many already thanks

  6. Turn your back on the garden for 5 mins at this time of year and all sorts of things pop up.We have just had a blitz on ground elder, give it a few days and all the small bits of root missed turn into fresh plants.Add the British weather of sun and rain and everything takes off.

  7. Gardening is often about savagery and ruthlessness.

  8. Hmm. I am way too soft on my garden.

Where can I buy a horticultural flamethrower?

  9. Went for a swim in the outdoor pool, got a tan, had a cold beer and ate tapas. Needless to say I am not in Milton Keynes at the moment.....

  10. Getting worried about work. A job we were supposed to start today has been delayed, and we've not had a call all day. Desperately need the sun to come out...

  17. Simply put they stay put when its lashing down and dont move around much.

No where near their limit, but every corner every lap you can lean a bit more and more, just stays firm. And was lifting the front a very little (not wheelie just going light) out the Melbourne hairpin on 2nd there is so much grip. You can brake so hard and even a little trail braking isnt scary...and I am a track pussyin the wet!

  18. As I thought. I am the biggest wet weather pussy there is and I've always wondered how I'd get on on wets ...

    /wistful

  19. Sitting here waiting on a big parcel van coming with my new cans
Then spending the rest of the day being a ducati technician lol
