I think your speltcheck jumped in there mte.. you obv meant .. “ your welcome to pinch any of my bikes” Thanks, appreciate your generosity ( no lellow ones for me thanks) X
Try this for parts etc.. https://www.bike-parts-ducati.com/ducati-motorcycle/Hypermotard/2011/Hypermotard_796/203 X
Looks like a Greta Thunberg approved motorcycle with that tree growing out of the tank, welcome on board.
If you e mail this guy at Moto Rapido ( UK Ducati Dealer) just tell him we at the DF advised you to contact him he will supply you with parts lists and workshop manuals etc without charge, you will struggle to find anyone as helpful.. Luke his sidekick is also brilliant.. [email protected] [email protected] X
T that is such a useful tool. At least for listing part numbers. Now I’m looking for a headlight bulb replacement. Need something brighter than stock.
Oh I’m so thankful.. no wonder it sounded too damn nice and I thought it was just the Italian magic haha
I don’t think I’ll be able to afford shipping even if he gives me parts at a discount. Getting stuff to the US seems like it’s getting more expensive by the damn day! I wished this wasn’t the case
Do you guys have any recommendations for brighter light bulbs to replace the stock one? When I searched online, I found HIDs and even LEDs. Has anyone had a chance to experience any of those options?
Welcome to the Forum Sam Re the oil pressure light st low revs, it’s more likely than not to be the sensor, however, there’s no harm in getting a pressure testing kit (damn, they’re cheap in the USA) https://www.ebay.com/itm/Automatic-...406c988a2c24e145e523|ampid:PL_CLK|clp:2334524 If the pressures good and the light still comes on, I had this issue, a second washer under the pressure sensor fixed the issue. Enjoy the bike
Yes I’m fully aware so.... what I was at least trying to do was say if you e mail these guys they will I’m sure be able to provide help of some kind even though they are UK based.. Parts diagrams and workshop manuals, build history.. etc .. We, in the Deep South tend to be helpful people... Nibble coming I’m sure.... X
Oh Silly me! Of course it’s a a left hand ride bike isn’t it! ...... Sam, most people on the DF Will at least try to be helpful, And then, there’s @Exige .. Don't worry mind, I Will always luv him inamanlywayobv... X
so you think I can keep the sensor and an extra washer will sort it out, or you meant in addition of a new switch?
