Cleaned the 600ss to celebrate its 25th birthday (first registered on 8th August 1995). The rubber captured nut thingys were playing up so the left side fairing has yet to be refitted.
@chizel Best way is this... (but put the screws opposite each other - 3 or 4 screws are better equidistant from each other) easy peasy - you're lucky you got it off after the screw driver failed
It was a shitty few hours of my life... nothing is normal for me... but its done and I'd like to think I will learn from this experience (I wont)
meanwhile I'm drinking red, watching umbrella academy (pretty bloody good with a great sound track) and planning my invasion of @brettski 's place tomorrow night.. And praying my beloved ss is not harmed in anyway on track....
If you’re thinking of spending some time in West Yorkshire and/or the Peak District let me know and I might be able to come to meet you. That’s if you want to
Serviced the clutch on the Hyper today. Took some notes on the suspension setup on the RSV4 after i visited MH Racing.
Started off in Aberdeen now in Stafford services after jobs in Newcastle, Chester le Street, Leeds, Huddersfield just little jobs no drama...had my little secretary in the passenger seat answering emails and messages and generally keeping things organised and god do I need organising
Today i have so far got the lil monster out and given it a bit of a clean in advance of it going to a new home today... Bit sad really. I hate selling bikes.. I've given the ss a polish so it will cut through the air a bit better at Silverstone.. An now I'm putting my 748 fairings together as I finally have the right size screws and wellnuts.
Today at lunchtime, me and SWMBO are taking advantage of the last day of “eat out to help out” at our local vineyard bistro
Just back home after a long weekend on the boat, mixed weather Friday and Saturday but yesterday and this morning was nice.
Already back and we had a lovely lunch for £24 including drinks. Not sure that it would have been worth £44 but at £24 it was rather nice. On our way out of our driveway we met our local mp (who's a member of my business group too so I know him quite well) so we stopped for a chat with him and his other half. Seems that they were on their way to view a house 3 doors down from us.
