Beginning To Think These Photos Are Staged..

  1. I put the mask on before entering the train station, once fitted I tend to leave it there until entering the office.(1hour trip) I cannot see a point in removing the mask if no one is around me for a short period of time. ( crossing a bridge in this case)

  2. Not even for a photo op?

  10. I do not think masks will ever fully go away now. There will people crying... why wont you protect me from the flu if you protected me from the Covid.

What i dont like the most about whatever the F this is. Is the fact that it is not over.
Do I want to be sick at all in any way? No.
    BUT
If it is going to happen lets GO! If the new normal is that this is around like cancer or something... Declare it and lets get on with life. If some portion of the populace is going to die over this Lets Go!
I think i would rather jump right into the Dystopian future where Soooo many have died and start whatever the new normal is supposed to be.
Where is F-ing Thanos when we need him.

I got pulled over at warnford by plod during lock down asking me why i am all the way out here from Southampton(i was on my very loud 900ie), i said shopping at the garage for meat because it's less hassle but he said i think you are using it as an excuse for a ride out, no i said i always come out this way for shopping:innocent: ;)and i do, but he just said to me to keep the shopping local to me, but to be honest he mentioned the loud pipes and undersized number plate and let me off, as i was leaving they pulled some bloke in a Lamborghini, explain that one sir:joy:.

  18. Well done - amusing and moronic at the same time.

  19. I do my best.
I am ready for whatever is next (I usually am) but this transition crap is killing me.
    It's like perpetual paperwork.

Unlike the UK where they like to queue (Heard it in a movie)...
I dont. I am and American. Please hand me either a Death certificate or Freedom certificate.
    I am ready.

  20. Yes you do sound American by the number of "I"'s in your post ... from the land of the individual.

Except from my perspective it's not all about you, nor me. Unleash the virus and it is the immuno-compromised that will die - or perhaps in your language "the weak" - the elderly, those with comorbidities whether they be a week old, in their twenties etc. But the Flu preys on them you might object. Research for a vaccine (one as effective as that against polio) against the Flu has been going on for the best part of a century. We have no choice but to live with the existence of the Flu, and Cancer, even as research continues.

This thing has been around less than a year and you're prepared to condemn many to death because your individual freedom is being impinged upon. Well, societies that care to some extent about their citizenry are not going to raise the white flag in your name yet. The search for either a vaccine or effective treatment will go on for the foreseeable future - until there is a clear consensus, at least, at the likelihood of either or both, and that is some time away.

Consider a scenario where the world goes down the path you advocate, and a year later a vaccine is available. The hundreds of thousands or millions that would have died on the grounds of impatience and "freedom" in the interim would and should weigh heavily on the conscience of those who advocated a short term view.
