  2. You and your fantasies

  3. Cracked one off already

  4. I'm bailing. Not worth the trip up and day off work to piss about in torrential Donny. Best to think of it as a bike tax...

  5. Yep me and mate bailed too
Done Donny lots of times so the catching up day at work is more useful for me as away next week and miles behind
Hope everyone that does go has a great day - hope it dries up and that you all stay rubber side down

  6. Gonna pop down and give you guys some moral support hope you've got plenty of coffee :upyeah:

  7. Donny in the rain ummmmm, 'it has the same grip levels as any other circuit when wet'. Yeh right........

  8. First one to get some pics up for us stuck in work!!!

  9. Thats a shame
Hope the food / ents were good and those that did ride stayed upright

  10. Glad I didn't go!

  11. I really thought that both FE and Ducati made the very best of a bad situation. It was an excellently run day.
Here are some photos of one very scared man

  12. Not long home... unloaded the van and that's as far as our lot went... the rain briefly stopped at lunch for 10 minutes and I did contemplate putting the warmers on as there was clearing skies approaching.. but the heavens soon opened up again. Although we didn't get out we had a great day catching up with people and plenty of laughs Ducati UK did a great job given the conditions, hope the fallers are OK also.

  13. yep i agree a well run day we can't blame anyone for the weather and there was plenty that went out on track regardless.........great to see some old faces again...

Shall we let everyone else in on the Brands secret?

  14. It will come out in the end, but why not
Sorry I didnt really go around introducing myself, met a few, but I left feeling there were more people I should have said hi to
Oh I did a total of 6 laps and then burnt a whole tank of fuel firing it down the M1 to get home

  15. I don't mind a little bit of wet but I would have had no fun soaking myself through and emptying the water out of my boots after each session. And once I get cold and wet I just want a hot bath and a massage and not a long drive home!

Anyway DUK put on plenty of distractions to stop me from sulking to much.

  16. Well, this is as far as our bikes went today. From the trailer to the garage and then back again! Donny garage.jpg

  18. Well o got put on track for all but the last session as I'd had enough by then and didn't want to tempt fate! Enjoyed the day as a whole, especially as it was my first time on wets. In a perverted kind of way I'd like to do another wet day so I can explore the grip levels more and get used to the tyres. The tyre guy must have made a fortune. I admire the guys who were going round all day on supercorsas. Got bigger balls than me that's for sure. No way I'd would have gone out on them.

DUK did a good job, and focussed seemed a lot better compared to other days I've done a donny with them.

it was nice to put a few more names to faces too. Roll on the next one!:upyeah:

  19. Yep I got home just after 6 in the end. My god the weather was awful on the roads! I stopped for petrol and to wring out my gloves and there were a few sniggers as I squelched in to pay.

Still, a good day although not as enjoyable as it could have been and likewise good to meet the Matts and a few others.

    See you soon
