can't see that being "better in the flesh" than the pictures myself. Strange blemishes all over the place and possibly even corrosion on lower chrome of fork legs.
Top yoke looks a bit manky, like it’s been stood outside for a while. It also seems to have more Agip stickers than elefants!
Change the price tag to £3.8k and it might get my attention...........or maybe not with that mileage.

Immaculate ? Milky headlights that take probably a couple of hours to clean and a manky brake reservoir cap. Minor details but that is what shows the care. Would I have put the bike back to standard and sold the Ohlins separately ? Absolutely, the early 748R is IMO, not worth that sort of money. Andy
