Result! Nice one Paid £70 for mine a couple of years back and it is far tattier than yours. Annoying as I left the original in the garage of my previous house when I moved and hadn't realised as I never used it... :-(
Exchanged on my new house this afternoon. At long last, offer was accepted in late March. It's been a rocky road with me actually loosing the house at one stage as the owners decided to give up with their intended move and stay put due to the developer dragging their heels. Thankfully they changed their minds and found another property within a week, one with vacant possession too, so things have happened fairly quickly. Two weeks until I move, better get packing!
Unfortunately it was a long while back, around 1999, and only while moving again that I realised... I only bought an original stanf for completeness. Still don't use it but at least the bike is totally complete again (bar the tissue paper cover!).
Left home about 9:30 this morning and bimbled our way via the Super Sausage to the Premier Inn in Newark on Trent. Had a walk down to the river Trent for a pint (or two) in a converted barge before dinner in the local Beefeater. Northallerton tomorrow. For the first time, the splat nav actually delivered the route I planned ...... hoorah ! Andy
Big two stroke meet at Squires tomorrow and The gold cup is on at Oliver’s mount but it’s sold out unfortunately.
Hi Frank, yes, Cheltenham. Place in Tivoli with a garage. Very much looking forward to settling in to the new place. Know the town pretty well, went to school there (not the girls college before anyone starts...) and it's IMHO got the right balance of pleasant place, decent facilities and amenities, great countryside and is reasonably well connected by road and rail. Couldn't be happier.
Today (well yesterday technically) I dropped my daughter off at the bus stop so she could go and spend a few hours with her pals, I then went home snd cheekily suggested that my wife and I go out on the bike for chips (expecting a refusal) she agreed so I got her leather gear and helmet out from hibernation and we headed north for Banff, Macduff and then back to visit other daughter and grandson. It may not sound too exciting but it was my first outing this year and her first outing since 2003 we didn't get chips after all and I got a phone call to inform me 'I've missed the bus home' but I think it was a bloody good evening
Nice one Harry and well done to SWMBO if her gear all still fitted after 17 years . When’s the next trip?
Going out tutoring a lovely chap who is so keen and takes all the information in first go, a real pleasure.
My Queen was out for dinner last night quite late so figured she would need some sustenance to recover and best I leave her relax so I done her a solid favour and done the brekky and now heading of on the bike for the day just so she has peace
Let's just say the majority of her gear was still suitable and she mentioned a little discomfort so 2 wheeled sofas may be mentioned however, it was fun and definitely to be repeated
An over enthusiastic architect has drawn up plans and applied for planning permission on behalf of my mums neighbour to build a two story four bed house at the bottom of their garden. Loss of daylight and being overlooked aside, the plan shows they have moved the boundary line taking land from my mums land to accommodate the new build. Meanwhile, On the other side of her house there is a private road, whilst is does have public access her property boundary line is to the centre of the road Before lockdown and without her knowledge or consent the road maintenance association decided to install an speed bump. Every delivery van, skip delivery and builders lorry can now be heard and felt throughout her house! Clowns to the left, jokers to the right. Never a dull moment eh.
No, that’s why I put a little bike, specifically for you: to help you understand, I had my one stroke earlier
