cheers mate.....I might just do that this weekend but I'll only exchange if the CBF600 has a rip in the seat...cash your way of course
What seat????? It's got an old sofa cushion bungee'd on , you won't need to slide your bum off the seat to get your knee on the deck.....just lean the seat will follow ....and the brake pads are quiche Lorraine not carbonne Lorraine
I'm quite partial to a nice piece of quiche as an horse d'offer or an afternoon canopy........slide off the seat? Knee on deck? How dare you what sort of motorcyclist do you think I am.....I'm not one of those chavvy types don't you know
Russ you won't be able to help it the cushion is from bright house and the bungee's have more give than a sextuplet fanny
As it was last year It was time for a change, here's a few snaps of the next incarnation! I've also fitted carbon air tubes and some other carbon parts that are behind the fairings.
nah not really....it looked as sexy as fook....so I bought it....simples.....doesn't really matter if it rides like an old clunker I'll just leave it in the lounge and look at it.......LOL
I've had the fairings off today so I thought I'd take the opportunity to take some pics of the carbon parts I mentioned in my post yesterday. The air tubes were a complete git to fit as they are massive compared to the stock ones. I've kept part of the original plastic tubes as they aid cooling to the rad and it saves making up another bottle system on the other side for the rad expansion
Had a good ride out on the 96R today down to Rye and I got to say for a bike with 135 BHP it feels like a lot more and the handling Isaw great on the bumpy roads considering I've not fiddle with any settings for my great bulk on the track I'm thinking it'd be just sublimely silky smooth.......I'm loving it......got the KTM RC8R Race spec at Brands GP tomorrow I'll be able to compare the 2 big VTwins........see yer there if yer going
the trouble is with owning a blingy bike is that it gets a bit scary riding the thing in case you have a little excursion into the countryside...i try to put that to the back of my mind..
