Any recommendations for where to get a high quality chain and sprocket kit for my 2017 1200 Enduro? No apparent wear on the rear sprocket, but just had the chain slip giving it the beans in Sport mode, so I'm guessing the front sprocket is done.
Thanks mate, not yet; I'll have a look though. Ironically, first MOT is booked for Friday, so I'll have to get my act together!
Bike torque..... they sell on ebay.... UK distributors for brembo.... Afam did.... Etc... Quality outfit
They basically do did chain with afam sprockets and free chain tool kit...... Or afam chain with afam sprocket kit... Bout ÂŁ200 ish depending on what you can get off.... Check their best eBay price then call them....
Bit of uncertainty over how many links the chain should have. Look-up tables seem to suggest 116, but I've counted 114 on the bike. So that's odd. Anyone else run in to this issue?
Owner’s manual states 114, https://assets.ctfassets.net/oifkva...53dfb/Multistrada_1200_Enduro_-_EN_-_MY17.pdf Andy
How long has that place been there? I used to live just down the road in Trowbridge until three years ago. Interesting fact about Frome I just found it; Joni Mitchell used to live there! As per this blog post by a friend of mine: https://patrickmaginty.blogspot.com...OXFCnW_0zesYNA34YMq08mw8w-9tuGCP0o_rDv59vcemo
Erm.... Well it's over 10 years... Because I bought a sprocket carrier there..... For the mighty S2r...... which I still have
Afam chain and sprocket kit still in brilliant condition with over 20,000 hard miles in my MTS 1200. Cant recommend highly enough, so much better than the rest I have had over time.
