Yep that's nice, but still prefer a twin sider. I used a GPz1100 arm in my Z1000H. Oh how I miss that bike.
Benefits of single-siders AFAIC: 1a) Shows off rear wheel better 1b) Makes cleaning rear wheel easier 2) Single-sided paddock stand is a lot more stable and reliable than many double-sided types 3) Likewise, chain adjustment is simpler and more positive.
Well there was a Ducati in the Le Mans 24hr this year, and last weekend a Ducati entered in the Estoril 12hr, but it never started, I think it was crashed in practice and the frame damaged, so was out, both televised here in NZ, both part of the Enduro World Series. https://www.fimewc.com/
Agree and thanks for that @Sev, like you say the single sided is non existent in endurance and what with the quick release systems in place now, who needs single sided?
There was a V4R team at the Le Mans 24 hour last month that was 6th at one point but they retired at some point and i don't know why, i was watching on Eurosport but it keeps cutting away too tennis and crap!!
I used to hate endurance racing but absolutely love it now probably an age thing and yes the pilot and the greatest enemy TIME, it reminds me of test cricket, 5 days and it can come down to the last over or even the last delivery!!
My love of endurance racing came from the Bol at Paul Ricard years ago. The whole thing just blew my mind. During the night (when the French seriously party), I could go to the top of the pit building and look down at pit stops -brilliant! I even got taken to the main medical centre once, where I shared with seriously messed up crashed racers. When thy threw me out, it was into the restricted pit area. That was when Honda Britain and Ron Haslam were racing. I could of wandered into the Honda garage - but I think that they would of told me to F.Off! I don't do Sky, or BT Sport, but I will investigate any coverage that I can get on my PC next year if they have any!

It's a shame that it can't be televised completely i watch it on Eurosport but there always seems to be tennis or bicycle racing that breaks it up, if you can find anywhere that televises it entirely let us know. My cousins now late partner always used to say do the Bol d'Or, he went one year and said it was absolutely brilliant and we probably would have gone to it but fate didn't allow it.
