prices have dropped a little but it's not like i said it was bargain of the century, forgot about the NP & PS Society on here.
I won't be forgeting you Harry, as long as Richard doesn't find out, but then again, it's not a Triumph is it?
Seen that one a few times, i wouldn't have thought it had done that amount of miles as nice clean bike, has been for sale about a year now.
I think you were lucky with your timing. IMO the 1200 is dynamically better in every measurable way but less fun to ride & to own. The older bike feels far more special. Based having owned a standard 1200 monster and standard S4R.
the "belt" SS gets more appealing as the years roll on. https://www.gumtree.com/p/ducati-mo...-fully-serviced-belts-chain-tyres-/1384742077
squeaky mileage though Harry, and looks genuine - still wouldn't pay that, but nice to see one all original.
you have to smile.. mileage needed to be 19.. https://www.gumtree.com/p/ducati-motorbikes/ducati-900ss-2002-/1385511143
looks a potential bargain.. https://www.gumtree.com/p/ducati-motorbikes/ducati-ss-1997-748-cc-ulez-exempt/1385381217
