  4. Hooray, at 04:15 this morning my third Grandchild arrived safe and sound, little girl " Sage" we are thrilled skinny.
Here's the bummer can't travel to the Isle of Wight we were put on Local lockdown last night, the Ferries website is down as that's the only way to obtain tickets, plus i am not sure if it would be safe for all concerned, my wife works in Care Home here.
Never mind its still excellent news, might have a snifter later to wet her head. Nearly two years without a drink drink.

  5. We've just been out walking round a local reservoir.

I'm still wearing shorts. In fact I've not worn trousers since mid March apart from once when I went to the mother in law's funeral.

  6. Congrats on the birth of your granddaughter!

We were due to go to the isle of wight today but cancelled last week. The cost of the ferry was £81.......we were offered 13p refund. They can stick it up their arse!

Where there’s a will, there’s a way, or more accurately, many planks of thick wood to prop door up.. Finally replaced the bottom door hinge on the mum-mobile, I have put this off for almost 2 years for several reasons but mainly because I couldn’t work out the best sequence as access is so terrible. It’s a 2003 Seat Arosa so the same as VW Lupo and possibly the same for many VW/Seat/Skoda/Audi.

  9. Went out for a ride on the 996 this morning, sun was out and a nip in the air but not cold as to get frostbite in your hands but cold enough to be wearing my fleece lining in my Dainese and my Buff.
Got about 30 miles clouded over and looked like it was going to rain and got decidedly colder so went home, the sign of things to come no doubt.

  10. Removed the standard Multistrada 1200 wheels with the worn out Metzeler, Roadtec 01s and fitted the spare 1098R lightweight wheels with brand new Metzeler, Sportech M9RRs. Seemed churlish not to have a run out to scrub them in so I did :D It was a bit overcast but mild enough and the tyres are now nicely scrubbed. Andy

  13. Congrats @portboy
Had both the foggy rep and the tuono out this weekend. Picked up a 2 gallon compressor and hose reel for the garage, it's a very quite unit which the neighbours will be happy about.
Thank god the weather was cooler for a couple of days but its heading back up this week.
