That was a classy way to deal with it as it probably made the bullies feel they were stupid and the outsiders but without having to do it directly.
Nice to see a different approach to bullies than here in the uk. Rather than sitting on their hands and held back by the Liberals.
Eh? He hardly dragged them out in front of the school and gave them six of the best. I thought that was actually a very sensitive and modern even “liberal” way to deal with an old problem. I can’t think of anyone would object to that method of addressing it.
It was a great way of dealing with it. Here, teachers are too frightened to approach directly and deal with bullying. This in turn leads to the bullying continuing for many years. Leaving the parents having to remove their kids from the school, due to no positive steps being taken. Or parents having to approach the other kids parents themselves. There is too much hand-wringing and blind-eyes to tackle what is prolific in schools. Many of today's kids suffer from bullying, leading to self harm, eating disorders, depression and low self esteem among other issues. This could last for the rest of their lives. All from what could've been nipped in the bud with positive and thoughtful actions.
Certainly agree with that one Noods, there are many forms of bullying, and there are also many forms of manipulating, bullying's distant relative.
Agree on the Cyberbullying, the added imagining of what might happen is often more stressful than the reality as we have almost all experienced by now. You've got the solution there, but finding one (an elder/anyone you can genuinely trust) is the hard bit, and after having "your finger's burnt" the first time/a few times of trying you might decide not to risk it again, maybe ever.
