Pain in the ass, someone's fucked up somewhere but fair play they got a replacement out today for tomorrow for straight swap but like i said i will check it first , one little job just one!!
Today I’ve been mainly reading and doing some exercise seeing as it’s been pissing down most of the day
Good idea about the reading, I think I will do a bit as still have a mountain to climb (Full details this Friday).
Watching an old film but a brilliant one "Galaxy Quest" Read a critics review of it a few weeks back on the net...he said it was one of the most perfectly casted films ever....apparently theres no plans to do a second as Alan Rickman is no longer with us....the director said..."it just wouldnt work without all of them...."
Snetterton today, smashed 10 seconds off my previous lap time from the only time I’ve properly ridden there last year. Weather held out all day after a damp start but got a shed load of laps in and loved it. Had the suspension tweaked by 100% and it’s made it slightly friendlier so that’s helped. Managed 15 days even with Covid and a huge improvement in confidence and lap times, 10+ seconds at each track pretty much! Probably the last one of the year so next weekend I’ll get it stripped down to bare bones for a proper clean. Then a few shiny bits to go on over winter, respray the fairings and powder coat the track wheels gold.
I'm fighting dady long legseses.. the fuckers are everywhere the last few days... I dont like bugs... or expending energy on swatting em...
I bought some Rukka Gore-tex trousers off eBay for SWMBO. I was dead chuffed when they arrived today, removable thermal lining, full armour and I don't think they've been worn more than once or twice in the dry for a short run if that, they're like brand new. A bargain at €129 compared to €650 or so new.
Today, in between showers, I’ve been mostly pottering around the garden digging up weeds, and planting stuff. Oh and I’ve done an hour or so of weights.
Richmond came to a standstill today to bid farewell to a great man. Goodbye Dave ‘ Flag up ‘. https://www.thenorthernecho.co.uk/n...ol-community-hosts-final-farewell-dave-clark/
I spent ten minutes waving at my neighbour this morning before I realised she was cleaning her bedroom window
With a second lockdown looming, I see people are starting to stockpile their shopping trolleys up again. I've just got back from Asda and saw a bloke buying 4 crates of San Miguel, 5 paellas and 3 burritos. I thought to myself, hang on a minute Hispanic buying
Hoping the weather forecasters have got it wrong as Friday and Saturday looks like scenery changing stuff again.
I meet another forum member yesterday very briefly,so that's the second member that actually exists.....i thought you lot were all in my mind.
