Saw a couple of them when we were up in the Dales and on the Moors in September. Really, really weird but astonishing when you are not expecting to see anything like them. Andy
Today I have started my bike to make sure it’s all ok since I got it back from Ducati dealer to replace gear position sensor and discovered that my fuel light is on! Now it was brimmed when I dropped it to them so the road test must have been about a hundred miles! SERIOUSLY not impressed!!
@Gerr said they are up for the chop, missing engines already, i didn't notice till that was pointed out.
My neighbour is still pretty annoyed at me for attending his mother's funeral today inappropriately dressed ( all because I didn't read the dress code properly). In my defence, I didn't have my reading glasses with me, and "sombrero" looks very similar to "sombre"
The wife's just told me "Tomorrow is Friday and the Cleaning Lady will be here - make sure you clean the house up before you come to bed"
Mrs asked me to defrost freezer. Suns out so I have 6 tea lights lit in the chest so I can get out on my bike.
I got a leaflet through the letterbox this morning "Are you an Alcoholic ? - If so, ring this number" I rang it and got through to the local off-licence.
Guess what? In my rush to get it done I left it on. What a burke! Realised when it was slush in the bottom. Job done then 50 miles on bike and dog walk in woods. Pretty productive morning.
Today SWMBO and I had a trip to Redbrick Mill. (https://www.redbrickmill.co.uk/) We have been and bought furniture, lighting and art/sculptures a few times before but every time I go I can't help but think that the place is amazing. The building itself is an old mill that has been tastefully refurbished and set out. It houses some 40 odd stores/concessions of architectural, stylish and sometimes quirky furniture and lighting. Stores there include Heals, BoConcepts, ILVA, Hulsta, Ice Interiors, Natuzzi and Made. It has been described as the "best place to shop outside London". Harrods used to have a place in there a few years ago. We also had a fantastic lunch there in the one cafe that was open. Pity it's in Batley.
