You mean the chatter? Would you not moan? I spent a bit of Sunday moaning about the brakes on my tiger. I think I would moan about he chatter. Honda have spent millions and he gets vibration in the bars. It can't be fun, especially when he knows he can be quicker without it. A very boring race though from a spectators point of view. From Caseys point of view, I expect he was happy just to control it from the front. Perhaps this statement by Casey will inspire others? “I was changing the mapping to try and reduce the chatter problem. Towards the end of the race I began to understand how to ride around it, this made things smoother and I found some more pace and was able to bring it home for a great race win".
No way Mate! I see it as jez's put it like most and not like biased Stoner Fans on a ducati forum lol. I guess the Casey forum is very quiet with very few members:wink:
No wonder viewing figures are on a massive spiral downwards! I just won a race! FFS smile! the world is watching! Or was!
He he still trying to fire off one last broadside there . I,ve said before and I'll stand by it Rossi and Burgess do not develop a bike, they may help out with the add on extra's i.e suspension footpeg position, clipon's, tyre pressure, but they do not develop a bike, otherwise the Ducati would have been sussed out for the start of the year. Do you really think Rossi and JB know anything about torsional stiffness or flex of a frame and where those points should be optimal, do they feck. Honda and yamaha have had years of making and adapting alloy frames as their bikes have improved in speed and acceleration along with improving electrical packages, and I bet sometimes they've lucked into something that works by chance.. Above all you need a great rider, which there is no doubt Rossi was, but he's no longer an alien, Yes he was fighting with Bautista who is on a factory honda (I think) but although Bautista is a great rider he hasn't as yet got that determination to push his bike past his comfort zone ,something that Stoner Lorenzo and Pedrosa do, look at Spies he is on the same bike as Lozenge and yet is miles behind, and the reason why is because when he first arrived from SBK he was on a high, thought he was able to live with the fast boys in his head and so raced that way,now he realises he isn't in their league he's dropping away. Stoner lozenge and Pedroser have no doubts as to their ability. Listen to Stoner's post qualifing comment he said they'd lost something in the last sector and needed to sort that out,he wasn't talking about changing his frame for an RSJ he was talking about suspension changes wheelbase or swingarm pivot stuff . And then comes the race and it's sorted and he's untouchable, thats what we're talking about when we say someone can develop a bike. It's not so much develop more fine tune what is available.
Hahaha! Too funny ... try listening to ALL the comments he makes. He praised last year's bike and his team.
To my mind, Casey Stoner has just one major fault: he believes Honda pays him to race motorcycles. In reality, it is the fans who watch motorcycle racing, and admire what he does on a bike, and then go out and buy a Honda scooter in Indonesia, or fill their gas tank at a Repsol station in Spain, or buy Gas jeans in a fashion store somewhere around the world. These are the people who pay his wages, and on occasion, it would be good for him to take them into consideration
Two of the most ignorant statements I have ever had the misfortune to read, utterly deluded. I know you like to wind people up, but this is tedious beyond reproach.
Deluded ? Me wind TP12 (Tony) up, You are kidding me ? Me wind 749er (Derek) up! Not a chance in hell mate, For your info the bit about CS and honda paying him was copied and pasted from a respected motogp journo!!!!!!! Ignorant WTF. Dont read my post's then or better still hit the ignore button http://motomatters.com/analysis/2012/05/07/2012_estoril_motogp_sunday_round_up_be_a.html
Estoril testing rained off completely so no testing of the new engine. :frown: Couldn't it have done that for the race to make it more interesting?
If eyes are opened most will see this has very little to do with reality and everything to do with banter and a bit of fun. i take Imola's point though about praising people. I mean Casey's dentist did an awesome job on his teeth but he's never been mentioned in any interview.
Does this mean they just going to start using new engine in France without testing or wait until test?
Please apply your logic to every other rider on the grid and report back on your findings Be interested to hear your comments on your bestest pal, reference the general public, and who owes whom what and why. Anyway, you keep telling us Casey does not have any fans. Logically, no one is buying any of these products because of him, but for other reasons. Like they make good bikes.
Hi Derek This is not about any other rider but it's all about your bestest pal  2012 Estoril MotoGP Sunday Round Up: Be Afraid, Be Very Afraid | MotoMatters.com | Kropotkin Thinks He got some stick for this..... Why is it Stoner fans have such raw nerves
