Well personally I think this whole Covid thing is turning us into a nation of fannies. I’m staggered by the wimpy attitude of lots of people. Now that’s just what I think. And you obviously think differently. Which is fine. But don’t get all bent out of shape just because people like me think differently to you. Dexamethasone is a happy steroid it gives you great highs and great lows I have experienced it as it was part of both of my chemos It also has horrible side affects I was given some by IV and my muscles went into spasms I couldn’t move or breathe and had to be taken off it quickly and given piriton and then given it very slowly No wonder Trump was acting weirdly

I’d have thought there must be a way to ‘carry on’ with life, with a bit of common sense. Rather than giving millions to private companies for track and trace, use the money to staff the nightingale hospitals if / when they are required.
Carry on is fine social responsibility is more complex for the stupid to comprehend.... example I have a friend who went to Portugal track daying. Came back and had to isolate for the 14 days. During that time he walked his dog.. something the isolation rules say no to. He lives in rural land so walked the dog away from others wore gloves and a mask. So flouted the rules but with an amount of social responsibility! This morning as I was walking my dog in tge country a women approached as she got closer she covered her face and shouted I’m on track and trace.... well twice been told to isolate! How fooking thick!! 1 for being out 2 for announcing it 3 for being in the track and trace social responsibility the difference!

I'm not being particularly sceptical. For sure this covid thing's out there. I just think the chances of dying from it or even becoming seriously ill are minimal. MSM seems to have got everyone running for the hills. Not me....
Whatever anyones thoughts are about the virus, you’re right - some social responsibility would go a long way to stopping the spread and allowing people to live a nearly normally life.
I'm almost of the opinion that I don't care if other people don't want to look after themselves, simply because I have too much to consider in respect of my own health. COPD, Asthma, potential heart problems (picked up a stent after an MI in 2013); repeated COPD exacerbation and pneumonia (particularly getting one after 7 months shielding and just sticking to the rural area where I live); cancer (current subject); diverticular disease; adhesion in the abdomen; high level medication causing very low immunity. Would I have the vaccine?....maybe, after I see if other people over six months don't have serious side effects. If anyone thinks I'm stupid for being cautious, remember that all my friends and relatives are familiar with my favourite expression....in fact they will say "He doesn't say it anymore, he just looks at you". "I told you so...."
I think your right for the majority though we shouldn’t be complacent as the majority have a chance of taking it back to the minority. My kids social distance at home for that reason as one is at college one is at work outside Both are very aware of what could happen should they be carriers and pass covid onto me I don’t believe life should stand still and should continue sensibly and thoughtful of others and I should be allowed to be safe. Just because, I use you “loosely “ haven’t been ill doesn’t mean you couldn’t make someone else ill.
