Today i managed to get out on the 900ie but not for long, it's fucking cold or i'm turning into a pussy in my old age, suns out roads dry but pissing down tomorrow.
I was in the garden this morning carry out chainsaw stuff etc, thought i'd go for one a hour ago and then came a shower. Five days and counting before park up time and repair.
It's proper Autumn weather now, leaves everywhere the odd damp patch on the road and COLD, i hate cold. I need to sort out some things on the 996 mainly that ding in the fuel tank, it really bugs me it's like a horrible little parasite laughing at me.
I have been thinking that way but no i'll get it sorted there a place in Alton called C&S Coachworks they do motorcycle restore or repair they have good reviews and seen there work on there web page.
If small enough a dent technician can pull it out without causing damage to the paintwork,i used one on a car & van a few years ago with positive results.
Watching itchy boots riding from Chile into Bolivia and can’t help but think that you would not stand a chance on a multistrada on your own on the Bolivian tracks, riding for hours, without any other people around, on 4500/5000 mtr high, you drop it and you will never get it back on the wheels again on your own, ( besides losing every bolt through vibration) those royal Enfield Himalayas are very well bolted together it seems!
I'd be dubious of her unbelievable enfield experience couple of my buddy's done the trip she done and snapped swing arms on 2 of the 5 bikes the back up jeep was full of them and loads of small problems too!! She claims she's not got a penny from them buttttttttttttt!! In fairness fair play to her personally
