Hi From East Yorks

  1. Ciao! I have just joined the forum after having a cruise about on the web for another bike. I currently own a 1993 Ducati Monster 900 and a Moto Guzzi Stelvio. The Monster is my third Ducati. I have owned a 900SS and a ST4 before. I enjoy going to meets, and touring. I generally get over to Italy a couple of times a year and I love the place. The Monster is currently for sale as my wife has decided that she wants to get back on a bike after 5 years away. The 900 is a bit of a handful for her so I am sadly parting with it :frown:. I am trying to steer her towards a Monster 636.

  2. Another East Yorkshire member! We will soon be able to have our own sub-group.

  3. hi from newcastle. do you get to sherburn and fimber

  4. Yes. I get to quite a few Wednesday nights at Sherburn and get to Fimber on weekend runs. I was there on Sunday morning

  5. I used to live in Cott for 12 years.
me any my mate guy used to often drop into fimber for a coffee. just lovely out that way.
I might be down sherburn thks thursday. just a boring 100 A1 miles journey lol

  6. WHY the hell does anybody like Squires'? Boring riding there, too may cops and crap food - actually that is the polite description for it.

  7. There are plenty of B roads to get there from which ever angle you want to come in from. You just have to be a tad adventurous

And the last few times I've been this year I've never seen a cop.

I'll give you the crap food one though

  8. No squires fan myself, Willingham is my only slightly social haunt :)

  9. I think the food at squares has improved. But each to their own. I started going over 25 years ago when it was the shack in Sherburn. I went to Willingham woods for the first time last summer and was a bit underwhelmed. Some nice bikes there but not many and not much atmosphere. An excellent ride there and back though, which is what matters

  10. Each to his own.........

  11. Hello and welcome
