Hi all, Very new owner. Haven’t managed to get it started yet and I think it’s an issue with the petcock. Does the 2001 model have a manual or vacuum petcock? Either way I can’t find it. Can anyone help/send picture? Thanks

Sorry can't answer your question, but ..... Petcocks are only fitted to our American friends' bikes, we have fuel taps here !
some Monsters did around 1994 but you're right Viv, not one on this bike. I think I can see part of a carburetor in first picture so probably has a vacuum pump (visible on R/H side of bike) and a fuel regulator under/by the tank hinge.
