996 Keys

  1. Hi chaps can you still get replacement keys for the 996 ?? I had a couple cut but they look like house keys. Ideally I'm after the black key with ducati written on it is it an eBay job??

  2. Yes mate. Get the genuine looking ones off eBay and get your local locksmith to cut them.
    Mine charged me £8 a few years ago.

    It didn’t occur to me to shop around, so I got charged a rather steep £15.00 odd for cutting one key - 2 minutes work...
    It was a fancy machine though.

    Or just get one from your local dealer, had this one for years and can't remember now if it was in stock or had to be ordered.

  7. is there a transponder or chip in a 2000 st4 or is it just a mechanical key ?
