He was asked about the pressure he must be under as he is leading the MotoGP World Championship. He replied, and this is not a word for word quote, “Pressure, what pressure? Pressure is living with COVID, pressure is not being able to pay the rent or put food on your table. If I win the Championship, it is good, if I don’t win the Championship, then it is still good for me”.
It’s nice to see that young people like him and Marcus Rashford have a conscience. Thankfully they understand that they are in a very lucky position, being paid very well for doing something they love, and that millions around the world aren’t as fortunate and need help and support sometimes.
