The 1000ds is a peach of an engine and must be stunning when tuned. If id the money id do it.

 

But ST2 cams won't fit the DS engine. So what alternatives?

 

Obviously you are right there, one has proper ball races for the cams the other runs the cams direct into the head, cannot remember which way round. As a principle though you would need higher lift longer duration cams to get anywhere near the target bhp

 

Ncr sell lots of parts for these engines and the sc bike. Pricey though.

 

Suspect some may be on this, and/or pierbon, otherwise where does the cost come from?!
