I know these have not worked for everyone and wondered if anyone has some that did not work for them they wanted to sell before I buy new ones?
Oh yes they doooo... Well, they help IMHO. I think the main problem is the width of the screen lower down, can't get around that and maintain the lock. Looks like the V4 has add on winglets to try and mitigate this.
I've just purchased a set of Iconic Screen Spacers and they have got rid of the buffeting at 'motorway' speeds. It's still quite noisy and I now get a face full of air blasting up the front of my crash helmet ... could be good in the summer but not great when it's 4 degrees I'm still looking for solutions. Has anyone tried a WRS touring screen ?
I went ahead and got them and they have helped a bit. Quality is not great. There are so many variables in the equation (height, helmet, sitting position, height of screen) that i don't think anyone will be able to provide a definitive answer
I tried the spacers (1200 DVT) and I couldn't feel any difference, so I took them off. They are in the garage however I've packed everything in boxes as I hope to move in the next couple of weeks. I could dig them out, how does £20 plus postage sound?
The spacers I have are for a 1200 MY 2015+ which has the same 3 hole screen fitting as the 1260 & 950 models, see the spacers page on the Iconic parts website. First dibs should really go to @Graeme Collins as he started this thread.
