Well, following on from my previous posts, I think I have now finished with the mods and tweeks, at least for just now.. I have now removed the pillion hangers and pegs, polished the rider hangers, heel guards, brake pedal and gear changer. Added a couple of small Italian flags to the side fairing and had the lower fairing panels done in black. I think this is how it should have looked, but that may change in time.. I might start looking for an older 1200 Multistrada now to have as well, but just toying with the idea, I have not sought approvals on that from she who must be obeyed.
Looks great, It’ll never be done, there’s always the next improvement to aim for Cold long winter nights searching eBay, I couldn’t help but tinker with my 899 Miss it muchly but enjoyed the Hyper
Thanks. They look great. How durable / tough is the paint when changing tyres? Do you mind if I ask how much to expect to pay?
No problems, I had new tyres fitted after painting with no issues. They cost £160 for the pair which is slightly more than powder coating but they have a much deeper and glossy shine to them. Money well spent, in my opinion, not sure the wife agrees though..
