I love it! Very easy to ride - certainly compared to the 748! It isn't fast but does corner well. Suspension is basic although the rear shock is adjustable, engine similarly basic but sounds nice. Easy to work on and look nice!
I loved my 600 SS if I hadn’t written it off and in better health I would still have it Great bike to ride even at my level of experience
Thanks. I will keep an eye out for one but price's for the whole range 900,750,600 and 400 are all over the place, some want more for 400 then a 900,
I seem to recall that the 400 was JDM only or am Imis remembering? Quick edit seems it washttps://www.motorcyclenews.com/news/2015/september/mcn-plus---classic-or-crusher-400ss/
I had one as my first bike 25 yrs ago and bought it back earlier this year . I've done 1k miles on it so far and it always puts a smile on your face . Yes it's slow, has a single disc and basic suspension but it's a real joy riding it, especially when your'e catching up bikes with three times the power through the bends! . I also have a monster and a street 765RS that I move out the way to get the little SS out for . 2k has never been so well spent .
Always a great moment when you return to an earlier lover in your life when sparks used to fly,.....but not always the case.
Put new tyres, brake discs and pads on the Multi. Well I will have by the time I get the wheels back on!
You’re meant to be admiring the wee Brompton , not checking out my gaf! You’ll be wanting to know what all the ropes are for next.
