Rotate them, swap out every 4 Months. No problem anytime.

 

Trellis framed Ducati's,nothing quite like them is there.

 

I love it! Very easy to ride - certainly compared to the 748! It isn't fast but does corner well. Suspension is basic although the rear shock is adjustable, engine similarly basic but sounds nice. Easy to work on and look nice!

I will keep an eye out for one but price's for the whole range 900,750,600 and 400 are all over the place, some want more for 400 then a 900,

 

I suspect the 400s are pricey because they are rare?

 

I seem to recall that the 400 was JDM only or am Imis remembering?

I had one as my first bike 25 yrs ago and bought it back earlier this year . I've done 1k miles on it so far and it always puts a smile on your face . Yes it's slow, has a single disc and basic suspension but it's a real joy riding it, especially when your'e catching up bikes with three times the power through the bends! . I also have a monster and a street 765RS that I move out the way to get the little SS out for . 2k has never been so well spent .

 

That was a bit of luck getting it back and like you say for 2k money well spent.
