Having had the opportunity to view the details about the new Multistrada V4, are you impressed or disappointed? Would you buy one today if you were in the market? Please Vote. You may change your vote at any time and preferably once you have had a chance to view the 2021 Multistrada V4 in person.
But it is the point though isn’t it. The bike has a different focus and that’s the reason people won’t be buying it, myself included. And to add to its problems it’s about as attractive as Hattie Jacques.
I know what you saying but the question was simply would you buy the new multistrada today , different focus or not.
DarR here causing trouble for Ducati... or is it Ducati making trouble for itself with a new model launch misstep?
Yes indeed. I am very curious to see what my UK brothers here think of this new V4 model. Already it appears the fellas here have the same reaction as us Yanks do— not very positive for this new Multistrada.
Episode 3 was a Mega let down for "Die Hard" Sport Touring riders looking for a successor to the out-going road focused Multistrada. SuperSport was a non-event only increasing the displacement of the current SS939 to not lose power because of Euro 5. Disappointment: No SuperSport V4. Therefore, keeping my 1260 Multi Pikes Peak for what seems like forever. Not a bad place to be actually. New Coke deja vue. Bottom line: Ducati has alienated their best customers by trashing their Multistrada Sport / Street clients.
Ducati just need to look at this very thread to see how badly they’re fucking up right now. Over 80% so far that won’t buy the new model, I’d say that’s a monumental disaster. If there’s a sportier version coming, they really need to show their hand and salvage this clusterfuck RIGHT NOW!
+1^ I'd say our Sporty 2010~14 brothers looking for an upgrade will seriously consider the competition.
no! But still hoping they will bring out a road biased sports touring like the current and previous generations, this means for me: a single sided swingarm, a fat 190 tire and 17" front. but, my dealer tells me they will bring out the same bike with a bigger tank If thats the case, I will go for a proper sports touring and I'm done with Ducati. Its go everything the DVT Multis have (incl same bosh hardware) and even does certain thing better than the multi.
I took a 1290GT out when my Super Adventure was being serviced. It was frikkin epic! Had a race with a BMW i8, and it hit 170mph, effortlessly. The i8 pulled up along side at the lights and says he couldn’t believe how fast it was!
I have a test ride booked on the S1000XR TE next week, ridden some great bikes recently. Super Duke GT is my fave so far , this is great fun it's like being set free to buy what I want to
