it certainly is and (for me) it looks right from any angle you care to look at it from/just can't fault it's looks. First Alfa i've been able to say that of for a long time.
It’s only a matter of months before the bonnet badge starts to look like this. A common fault that’s never been rectified.
My sister had one of these day trip with two buddies in the front seat back in the day, what was she thinking.
I owned this for a short while last year, having brought it for £1700 with 6 moths MOT to cover me for a couple of months whilst I was between Discoveries(long Story). It was just the 1700TDI, but was actually fun to drive and I suddenly 'got' the whole Alfa thing. I sold it when the MOT ran out for almost what I paid for it, but now really want a 3.2V6 Q4 one as a toy when I have space. It just needed two tyres for the MOT, but I couldn't be bothered to do them when I got offered what I did for it. Nasher.
Alfa imo produced some of the most beautiful designs ever seen and were very successful in racing for so many years I remember watching “Andrea de crash a lot“ ( Andrea de Cesaris ) in his AR in F1 back in the 80’s, he seldom used to finish a race and the Alfa’s used to always sound like a bag of bolts but beautiful car.. I think Ascari won a title with them and drivers like Patrese Cheever and Andretti drove for them over the years, great memories and beautiful cars.
Most Alfa’s are just very pretty cars, even the modern 3 box/hatchbacks look better than anything else. Just don’t rely on one to get you to work & back regularly
